RULES
We may, at our absolute discretion, prevent you from taking part in, or disqualify you from the Event where you do not comply with the Event rules.
Fairness and Safety
You must only take part if you are the person registered as a participant on SiEntries.
You must only take part in the Female Class if you are eligible to do so.
You cannot change your Class once the event has started.
You must carry your mandatory kit with you from start to finish.
You must wear your bib on your front.
You must enter all indoor checkpoints and visit all outdoor checkpoints.
You must cover the whole route and not take any shortcuts.
You must backtrack to the point where you left the official route if you make a mistake. If you do not backtrack and therefore miss part of the route, you will receive a time penalty to reflect the advantage gained. Any time penalty applied is decided by the Race Director and their decision is final. You will be informed of a time penalty at the earliest opportunity during the event, and the time penalty will be added to the overall finish time.
You must not run with anyone else, other than fellow registered competitors, who is on foot, in a vehicle or on a bicycle along any part of the route.
You must only receive outside help from spectators and support crew who are stationary at spectator/support crew friendly checkpoints, or at other roadside locations.
Environmental
You must not drop litter. Litter includes fruit skin.
You must close all gates, unless there is another runner immediately behind you.
You must not take part with a dog.
Spectators and Support crew
Your spectators and support crew must only visit checkpoints that are designated as spectator/support crew friendly.
Your spectators and support crew should not enter indoor checkpoints. The exception is where you require assistance following an injury.
Your spectators and support crew must not consume any checkpoint food or drink.
Your spectators and support crew must not obstruct any runner or marshal.
Your spectators and support crew must park sensibly in villages and roadside locations.
